Our first Beta version of the platform is online!
After around 1 year testing with a real world infrastructure and collecting 1.8 million events we think it’s time to step up to a new level. All the mechanisms we planned for Version 1 of the platform are working and data is flowing through the system.
Our first goal was to have the system up and running with its four fundamental components:
- Web Platform, the interface for cybersecurity Users.
- Agent Node (simply a “Node”) which is installed on Instances/VM/Bare metal and collects events based on what the User defines in the Platform. The events are forwarded to its chosen Master Node. The Agent isn’t a mandatory component because the platform may collect (receive) events by other means, but its installation can give a richer set of functionalities.
- Data Collector Node (Master Node) which collects events from the infrastructure, exactly from Agent Nodes and forwards them to the platform. The system supports multiple master nodes.
- Analysis Engine which processes events to check which satisfy the Rules set by the Users. The system supports multiple analysis nodes, because they process the heavy work of decoding events to extract vital information from them.

We are working constantly to bring online all the features we planned, and have a roadmap for Version 2 which will include many more exciting modules.
Enjoy!
